RLA RICHARD LOUREIRO ARCHITECTS

Richard Loureiro was born in Lichtensteig, a small town located in the Northeast of Switzerland. 

Since as a child he demonstrated curiosity about the forms. The constant trips with his parents through Europe, contributed to his development and architectural interest.

During his graduation he did some summer Internships around Europe so I could understand other ways of thinking and planning architecture,

He graduated in 2014 at the University Lusiada of Porto, with an Master in Architecture degree, where he had as mentors some of the most distinguished architects of the Portuguese architecture scene.

In January 2016, Richard Loureiro decided to create RLA Richard Loureiro Architects. It was a childhood dream come true with a lot of effort and dedication.

His architectural style is defined by the minimalism of Mies Van der Rohe, combined with a sustainable architecture inspired by Swiss and Scandinavian culture.

His personal quote " work until your idols become your rivals", is  the path he is going through since young age willing to grow and learn each day with new challenges.
